~Find comfort in the chaos~
Two years ago, I discovered an article that helped me get through a very anxious filled time. This isn’t a topic I’m going to delve into in this blog; however it was a very strange blessing in disguise. It swallowed who I was up, and spat out a brand new Anne. It was needed, but not welcomed at the time. Only a few things helped me to stay sane; quotes and comforts.
The article listed a number of ways to gain back the control and feel the comfort again. Number 22 on the list, was a comfort box. The box is a way to help you cope when things aren’t going so well. I carry some of these items every day, and some are just used when I’m really in need. It can be one thing, or ten, it really doesn’t matter, as long as the focus is on what centres you the most. It doesn’t need to be a physical box with these items in, it can be just a thought of what you would want and need to make you feel at ease, that way you have a constant place to turn to when things get tough.
So, hopefully anyone who needs a bit of comfort or a push in the right direction to feel better, will benefit from creating this ‘box’, and calming vibes will soon float your way when you’re most in need.
